Objectives |
*The students
will work together to create an ocean setting. *The students
will identify and match the whales correctly. |
Activity |
The students
will use the materials provided to create an ocean and a boat for the whale
watchers. The materials include: a blue sheet for the water and big wooden
blocks for the boat. Then the children will get dressed to go whale watching.
(Sunglasses, binoculars, life jackets or floaties) They will use their whale
watchers guide to match and identify the whale that they sight. There will be
whale cut outs set around in the block center. |
Assessment |
I will observe
the children in their center to see if they were able to match the whales
correctly. |
Materials Needed |
Blue sheet, big
wooden blocks, sunglasses, binoculars, life jackets, floaty things, whale
watchers guide, and whale cut outs. |
