Activity

The children will listen to the story Is This A House For Hermit Crab? By Megan McDonald and Illustrated by S.D. Schindler. Then using the magnetic story pieces, the children will work together to retell the story.

Assessment

I will observe the students as they are working in their center. I will be listening for the beginning, middle and ending as they retell the story. I will be watching to see if they are taking turns in the group situation.

Materials Needed
