will recognize the numbers 0-20. *The students

Activity |
The students will
use magnetic fishing poles to fish for the paper fish. The fish have a paper
clip on them. Each fish will have a number written on it. As the children
catch a fish, they will identify the number to a member of their group and
record the number on their recording sheet.
If they do not know the number they may ask a member of their
group. When they have recorded the
number they will return it to the pond. |
Assessment |
I will observe
as the children are working in centers. I will listen for correct answers.
Their recording sheet will be used to assess their handwriting. |

Magnetic fishing
poles, magnetic fish, recording sheet and pencils. |
